Happy holidays, indeed! Netflix has announced that Virgin River will premiere season 6 this December with all 10 episodes dropping at once. (Last year, there were 10 episodes in season 5, plus two bonus holiday episodes, which aired following the Thanksgiving holiday.)
For a while, it looked like the new season of Virgin River wouldn't premiere until early 2025, given that the writers' and actors' strikes of 2023 pushed production back by months. Filming for season 6 wrapped in late spring 2024.
Now, with the news of Virgin River's upcoming premiere date (Thursday, December 19, to be exact), Netflix has also released new photos of the season, which sees a very pregnant Lizzie, a solemn looking Muriel (with Cameron!), and, of course, our central couple, Mel and Jack.
