It's a tale as old as time: a love triangle in the pods equals ongoing, endless drama. But that's not the case for Ramses and Marissa of Love Is Blind season 7. Or is it?
As soon as these two were able to commit to each other fully, they have been really into each other. Like, this romance is on fire. The teaser for the end of the season, however, implies differently.
Here's everything we know about the couple, and where their relationship stands today.
Who are Ramses and Marissa from Love Is Blind?
Ramses Prashad is a 35-year-old associate for a nonprofit that aims to enact justice reform in the US. According to his bio on the company's website, he has worked on initiatives including a campaign to end sexual assault in prisons.
Ramses was raised very religious and is back on the dating scene after a four and a half year marriage to his high-school sweetheart. Once he began moving away from his Christian faith, the couple's relationship suffered, and they ultimately split. He also, according to his Instagram, looks good with basically any hairstyle.
Marissa George is a 32-year-old newly-minted law school graduate (she finished her degree from the University of Maryland's Francis Carey Law School this spring). On the show, she explained that she had been raised one of four kids by a single mother and sometimes they didn't have much. But, she said, she was blessed by many caring and giving people in her life, who gave her experiences she never would have had otherwise.
Before embarking on her legal career, she spent seven years as a surface warfare officer in the Navy. While in the Navy in 2018, Marissa served on the USS Kidd, which she called an experience where she learned a lot “personally and professionally.”
What went down on the show?
As we mentioned, Marissa found herself tangled in a classic Love Is Blind web: the love triangle. While Ramses was immediately all in on George, telling her in episode two she had been “his top one for a while now,” she wasn't so sure.
“There's two of you guys I am connecting with,” she said in part. The other guy was Bohdan Olinares, a 36-year-old tech sales professional and former Marine.
As we learned from watching their dates in the pods, Bohdan and Marissa had a lot of things in common. They both were military veterans and extroverts, outgoing and playful. But Ramses and Bohdan had some similarities as well. Both had been married before, and the two actually got along. But Ramses expressed some insecurity over the fact that he is in general a more sensitive type of guy, while Bohdan fit the more “masculine” stereotype.
By episode four, it was time for Marissa to make a decision. Ultimately, she went with her heart and broke up with Bohdan.
“My feelings with Ramses are stronger…and they're also, like, more romantic,” she told him.
