Now that Taylor Swift is back from the European leg of her Eras Tour, she's been dressing in full Miss Americana style—except for this brown Gucci mini dress she wore for a New York City date night with Travis Kelce on September 8.
Swift was spotted out on the town in a sleeveless, mod-style shift dress with the iconic Gucci logo pattern and a brown leather pocket detail at the sides (which you can see here in People). She paired the Italian designer with strappy black sandals and a matching black leather purse, and topped the whole outfit off with a light brown overcoat. She kept her jewelry simple, wearing a silver bangle and silver pendant necklace along with delicate hoops. Her date (which would be Kelce), complemented her Euro-preppy look with a black-and-white knit polo, black pants, and a baseball cap.
The Gucci look is a bit of a departure for Swift, who has mostly been seen lately in her tried-and-true American girl-next-door style. For her first football game of the season, Swift wore a denim corset top and jean short-shorts with over-the-knee red boots. Then, to watch the U.S. Open, she wore a red-and-white checked sundress from Reformation.
But her Gucci shift dress proves that Taylor Swift can style chameleon with the best of them, even while maintaining her signature cat-eye and red lip makeup look.
