Glamour: To start with the obvious, do you want to return for season five?
Lucien Laviscount: This gig has changed my life in so many different ways. To work with these incredible people, day in, day out, for the past few seasons, it's been a dream come true. So to come back would be an honor, privilege, and all the fun stuff as well. So yeah, I'd love to come back.
What do you want for Alfie when it comes to a partner after his breakup with Emily?
After his kind of transformation with Emily and her strong, independent, go-getter attitude to life and to love…I don't know. Just the way she explores the vulnerability and her openness, I think it's going to take someone really special to fill them boots. So if we're going to see her, it's going to be amazing to see who can step into her shoes or step out of them.

Do you think she’ll be a friend or foe to Emily?
Gosh, I think a little badass attitude doesn't do any harm. But a friend, for sure. That's how the Emily in Paris-verse works. Everyone's friendly foes, to an extent.
Except maybe Genevieve. People seem to think she’s just “foe.”
Mmmmmm…She about that life!
What do you think of Alfie’s advice to Gabriel to go to Rome to get Emily back instead of letting “pride and misunderstanding” come between them?
That just shows Alfie's maturity, thinking of a friend. Also, his naivety to his own feelings. I think sometimes Alfie definitely is selfless in his acts, and he's selfless in who he is. And I don't think he thinks about his own feelings as much as he thinks about other people's. It's a selfless move, and I think he's got a true friend—he feels like he's got a true friend within Gabriel, anyway. He's just there to support him and along his journey and whatever will come of it. Yeah, just do it with your full heart on your sleeve.
