Her album packed with ’80s synth, Swift leaned even harder into hipsterdom during her 1989 album cycle. Circle skirts, crop tops, glitter, plastic sunglasses, and bob haircuts—The tour look below could be easily replicated at home with a skater skirt, a bomber jacket, and shades.
But if you really want to go for it, try recreating one of the over-the-top vignettes from the “Blank Space” video, like stabbing a cake in your lingerie, crying your mascara off in animal print or wearing a riding outfit while standing on a horse. Reputation was Taylor's bad-girl era: dark, black, slouchy. Think snakes, camo print…and more black. For a costume that says, “I Did Something Bad,” scour your closet for a black jumpsuit or one-shoulder top, knee-high boots, and fishnet tights. Complete the look with a goth-glam beat starring a matte wine-color lip and smudgy, smoky eyes.

Lover: the era that wasn't. Swift came out of the gate bright and bubbly wearing so much pink and pastels, only to have the album's tour canceled by Covid.
