It's apple season, ladies. Bravo has officially announced that season 15 of The Real Housewives of New York City will premiere on October 1, and Glamour has the first look photos.
This will be the second season of the revamped RHONY, which was recast for season 14 to follow a new group of six women navigate the highs, lows, and drama of luxury NYC living.
But this year will feature no such shake-ups. All six of the “new” cast mates— Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield—will be returning, with some additions. Here's everything we know about the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City ahead of the premiere.
Do we have any images of the new season?
Glamour can exclusively reveal first-look photos of the cast for season 15, and safe to say, the cast is looking as good as ever.
The images, shot at the Gilded Age mansion the James F. D. Lanier Residence, are definitely giving off a classic New York glam with a bit of a modern flair, just like the ladies of RHONY. They were shot by photographer Danielle Levitt.
According to Bravo, “each photo was taken in different areas throughout the mansion showcasing the incredible space and elegance of each housewife.” Mission accomplished, we'd say.
What can we expect from season 15 of The Real Housewives of New York?
Bravo has released each women's storylines for the new season, and shocker of the century, there may be some drama.
“Things can change in a New York minute when rumors start spreading among the ladies and only time will tell if longstanding loyalties are strong enough to weather the storm as secrets shake things up,” Bravo tells Glamour.
Here's what we can expect from each of the ladies this year:
Sai De Silva: After, according to Bravo, taking “her mom’s ashes out of the shopping bag and to their final resting place,” De Silva will be testing out the world of therapy and Zen this year. But "will she be able to keep her cool or when push comes to shove, will Sai fire back?” Stay tuned.
Ubah Hassan: Our favorite hot sauce entrepreneur has her sights on becoming a mother, which seems “closer than ever.” But Hassan will have to balance her girl boss energy with “the thought of giving up her independence.” Relatable queen!
Erin Lichy: After moving from Tribeca to the Upper West Side, Lichy is aiming to create ”a more convenient life for her family." But things won't be easy, as this year Lichy will share her struggles with a loved one's cancer battle, as well as some marital issues.
