Good morning to everyone, but especially to Kate Beckinsale and her newly pink hair, for putting the real “strawberry” back in “strawberry blonde.” The British actor has recently debuted a new, cotton candy pink dye job on her hair, which is a bold switch up from the classic honey blonde shade she's been rocking for years. Not everyone has the moxie to dye their hair bubblegum pink, but everyone loves a girlypop moment.
Beckinsale showed off her new, dusty rose hair in an Instagram post on August 19, in pictures from a Pomeranian event she attended with friends in Los Angeles. She paired the new locks with an equally girly, sheer white top with visible bra, short-shorts, and a black hair bow.

Her hair stylist, Dimitris Giannetos, also posted a picture of the new look to Instagram, calling the color, “new STRAWBERRY whipped cream,” in the caption.
Pink is the hair-trend that never fully stops trending. It had a moment in the mid-2010s with the rose gold movement, in 2022 thanks to Barbiecore, and again in 2024 thanks to the Kardashians. And before that, pink hair was associated with the likes of Katy Perry, Paramore's Hayley Williams, and, of course, P!nk.
So, we wouldn't say Kate Beckinsale's pink hair is so much hopping on a trend as it is a revival of a true classic.
