Jenna Ortega is indisputably our reigning queen of spooky season, and she maintained the brand at the 2024 Venice Film Festival in a mulberry-colored suit, like Halloweentown's chicest ever mayor.

Ortega wore the custom Paul Smith suit, which combined a double-breasted blazer and tailored, wide-leg trousers, to the photo call for her new Beetlejuice reboot, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, on August 18. She accessorized with a chunky silver choker necklace and a black-and-white striped box handbag which cheekily recalls Beetlejuice's own iconic black-and-white suit.

In her Wednesday Addams days, Ortega had fully embraced the creepy schoolgirl aesthetic that the character was known for. Now, she's apparently upgraded to corporate goth. On the previous day at the Venice Film Festival, Ortega paired her khaki shorts with a black-and-white checked blazer and chunky, oxblood loafers, making the look a little less National Convention and a little more campaign stop at a Halloweentown state fair.
