The police chief of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wendell Franklin, says the gunman who killed four people at a hospital targeted the surgeon who treated him. The shooter killed Dr Preston Phillips, Dr Stephanie J Husen, Amanda Green, a receptionist, and William Love, a patient.
