NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A rare Wayne Gretzky trading card has sold for a record $3.75 million at auction.
It’s a mint condition Wayne Gretzky rookie card from 1979.
This is not the first time this card has been up for sale, and its value continues to rise.
The same card sold for $1.29 million in December, which was the hockey card record at the time.
