NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — CBS News has confirmed the New York State Attorney General’s office is investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the attorney general’s office said, “We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature.”
The state attorney general’s office is working with the Manhattan District Attorney on the investigation.
