NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Protesters clashed with police in Midtown on Friday night.
We’re told the group is part of the Defund the Police and Black Lives Matter movements.
Videos show tense moments as they marched on 54th Street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway.
Police say a member of the press was punched in the face. His injuries were not serious and he refused medical attention.
An NYPD van was also reportedly vandalized.
At least 11 people were arrested.
